Did you know that certain foods can boost your mood while they also help you maintain energy throughout busy days? There are even foods that can help you sleep better at night, like cherries and chamomile tea.

During this time of uncertainty and intense constant change, it is extremely important to REST, RECHARGE, and take care of YOU! This includes getting proper vitamins and nutrients from the foods we eat when we are able to. If we keep our immune system working well with healthy foods, we are less likely to get sick.

While it has been sad to lose the element of “family style” meal time at camp this summer, it has been fun to see our campers bring their own lunches and be able to talk about the foods they bring. On a normal year, we are providing meals and kids are able to serve themselves and share food with others, but this year, we are taking caution due to coronavirus. We miss doing cooking activities with the kids and being able to share meals in a more intimate way.
