About Camp K on Kenai Lake

Camp K sits on the shore of Kenai Lake in Cooper Landing, and includes more than 160 forested acres, a half-mile-long beach, and access to many hiking trails. Facilities include cabins that sleep up to 80 people; a large dining hall and commercial kitchen; a waterfront with stunning views and a sauna; a large activity field for group games and sports; an outdoor stage and fire circle; hot showers and a health center.

Guided Activities Available for Rentals: swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sauna, target sports, team building/challenge activities, hikes, plant & wildlife lessons, outdoor living skills, geocaching, arts & crafts, campfires, s’mores, and more!

Camp ARCTIC
June 6 - 8
Sponsored by the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. This is a family camp designed for youth with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. This camp provided opportunities for youth and parents to share a camp experience together with additional opportunities for parents to meet with specialist in the medical field. Registration Info
Peninsula Puffins Camp
June 9- 14
Co-sponsored by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America and Central Peninsula General Hospital. Provides a safe & fun summer camp experience while also teaching campers about their asthma and/or allergies. Medical staff insures medical care is provided. Registration Info
Operation Purple
June 15 - 19 and July 27 - 31
A camp for children whose parents are deployed, returning from or gearing up for deployment, or finding a new normal after an injury. This is a camp where kids can spend time with others who understand their worries, practice skills for handling stress and uncertainty, and also let go and just have fun! Registration Info
The Alaska Diabetes Camp
July 7 - 12
Co-sponsored by the American Diabetes Association and Children’s Hospital of Providence. The session is for youth with diabetes, their siblings and friends. Medical staff insures diabetes and medical care is provided.
Denali Family Services Camp
July 17 - 20
Provides a session for children with intense behavioral needs in a positive, supportive, and nurturing setting. Social workers and other staff are on hand in support of Camp Fire’s program staff, creating a supportive network for children to have a summer residential camp experience!

Rental groups have included: The Board Room, Identity, AK Child and Family, American Diabetes Association, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Central Peninsula Hospital, Denali Family Services, Girl Scouts, Grace Christian School, National Military Families Association, Southcentral Foundation.

Rental Requests

Camp is available for rent between mid-May and the end of September. We can provide staffing and programming when our schedule allows. Rental rates vary depending on a variety of factors.
