Community Centers

Providing care to more than 100 youth every day at no cost to families

Our Community Centers Program provides a safe and nurturing environment for youth from low-income neighborhoods at no cost to families. Research shows that quality after-school programs improve school attendance by nurturing a sense of belonging, creating a connection to caring adults, and providing academic enrichment, all of which make youth more likely to go to school and succeed.

To register for one of our Community Centers, talk to our site director at Tyson Elementary or Loussac Place and they will give you a form. If you have questions, give us a call at (907) 279-3551. We do not offer drop-in care so please register in advance.
