Jill is originally from Minnesota and moved to Alaska after college. She began her career in the nonprofit world working for a literary magazine in San Francisco and then went on to work for a major trade publisher, for several nonprofits in marketing and communications, and as a consultant on a wide variety of projects from editing and marketing to travel and project management. Jill has a B.A. in English and Government from St Lawrence University. She has volunteered her time to teach reading, teaching English as a second language, and has served on several fundraising, PTA, and booster club boards. Jill loves to travel and spent the better part of three years wandering with her husband across the world and working as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Hungary. Jill lives in Anchorage with her husband, four kids, and two dogs.
