Summer Programs

Camp Fire Alaska has a variety of summer programs to match your family’s needs as well as your child’s interests and maturity level. In some cases, a mix of different camp experiences throughout the summer is the perfect choice.  All of our programs provide youth with opportunities to learn new skills, challenge themselves, make friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Camp K on Kenai Lake
Our overnight camp in Cooper Landing offers a variety of sessions for youth ages 6-17. Campers sleep in bunk houses divided by age, and participate in traditional summer camp activities such as canoeing, hiking, archery, and creative arts. There are sessions for beginners new to being away from home as well as advanced wilderness expeditions for teens.

Camp Si-La-Meo
Our day camp is located in Anchorage on the campus of Alaska Pacific University. Youth ages   5-13 are organized into groups and fan out to experience a variety of activities such as daily swim lessons, target sports, canoeing, arts and crafts, rock climbing, as well as developing their team building and outdoor living skills. Weekly sessions run throughout the summer.
