Your Support

What is the Annual Fund?

Camp Fire’s Annual Fund is made up of hundreds of operating gifts from Camp Fire’s loyal alumni, parents, volunteers, staff, educators and community members as well as corporate and foundation partners.

How does my gift make a difference?

Your gift to the Annual Fund is put to use immediately to support the Alaska Council’s Community center programs in low-income neighborhoods, the Inclusion Fund that provides financial assistance to families for critical after-school programs and summer camp opportunities, additional staff support for children with special needs, program enhancements, staff training and so much more.

How can I make a gift?

Making a gift to the Annual Fund is made easy by a variety of ways to give. Camp Fire accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diner’s Club, and JCB cards, which you can use to make your gift via our secure online giving form or over the phone at (907 ) 279-3551.

Camp Fire Depends on Community Support, so Youth and Families Can Depend on Camp Fire.

Camp Fire Alaska is a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization. Although parents usually pay a fee for our programs, these fees do not cover the full cost of our operations. In addition, Camp Fire provides scholarships for youth whose families are having financial difficulties. Support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and state and local government ensures both our school-year and summer programs are affordable and accessible to as many youth as possible.  Contributions are tax deductible and stay right here in Alaska.

By giving to Camp Fire Alaska, our supporters help us provide activities and programs that directly benefit families and youth in our community. This support also allows us to continue to work towards our mission of offering every child an opportunity to discover the best in themselves and others in a fun and safe learning environment.

To our supporters, we send our deepest thanks. If you’d like to join us in support of Alaska youth, we welcome you.
