Camp K on Kenai Lake
New Camp...New Name!
As part of our exciting camp redevelopment, we are transitioning away from the name Camp Kushtaka. As we transition to the new name, you may see references to Camp Kushtaka, Camp K and Camp K on Kenai Lake - they all refer to the same camp.

Nestled among the spruce forests along Kenai Lake in Cooper Landing, 'Camp K on Kenai Lake' provides the perfect environment for youth to explore the natural world around them, engage in challenging activities and form friendships that can last a lifetime. With the supportive guidance of camp counselors, campers build their own unique community in which each member can experience a sense of belonging, connectedness, safety, acceptance and appreciation. A rang of session lengths are available for youth ages 6 to 17. Round trip transportation is provided from Anchorage and Girdwood.

Camp Sessions are creatively designed to meet the needs of the youngest first time campers as well as our returning campers. They are engaging, exciting, safe and fun for any child or young adult.

When you are ready to register, you may do so online or we will be happy to assist you in person at our office located at 161 Klevin St. in Anchorage (Map).

If you have any questions about the camp program, please email the Camping Program Manager Melanie Hill. She's always happy to talk about camp!

Address mail to your camper like this:

Parents should mail letters several days prior to the session starting to make sure a letter arrives while their camper is at camp.
