Camp Kushtaka's very first yurt was raised recently with the help of many, many dedicated and talented volunteers. We would especially like to thank ECI/Hyer for their architectural expertise and volunteer labor in designing and building the yurt platform.

A yurt is a Mongolian design for portable housing. This one will be used as staff housing at camp. If you would like to learn more about Alaskan yurts, visit Nomad Designs.
